We are still under heat warnings almost every day. It's been really hard because we all start going stir crazy inside. With Larissa possibly getting the chicken pox this week, I'm also reluctant to take her to the indoor play areas where she could potentially infect other kids. We did go to the mall on Thursday after her doctors appointment. I had no kids all day so i figured we needed to try and get out. It was way too hot to even go to the pool. It gets very crowded there if you don't get there when it opens, but i also didn't want to be there at 11am, right at the hottest part of the day. So we went to the mall and I let them pick out a new book each. Larissa picked out a book on farm animals, and Skylar picked a Cars II look and find book. They really enjoy the look and find books. They now have 2 Elmo ones and the Cars one. They also have a small Nemo one (travel size book)
So today they were going crazy inside again so around 3pm, i figured it was safe to go outside in the baby pool. Where I sit and watch them is in the shade from about 2pm on, and the girls just needed to get outside. They had a blast. Here are some of the pictures of their fun.

Larissa update
Well. It's only been 3 days since we started the new skin regimant and she already looks remarkably better. The foot that was REALLY bad, all scabby and bleeding, is now just red. No open sores anymore. She still needs it bandaged twice a day with the steroid cream and lotion, and I will continue with that until it is completely gone. I am guessing only another few days. I looked closely at it this morning, and there is no excema under it, so once the sores are gone, her foot should be free and clear. The other foot, that was just an excema flare up, is almost completely gone also. The backs of her knees and thighs are still there, but look better. She also isn't scratching them as much. I think the zyrtec is helping also. Yesterday I forgot to give it to her and I noticed her scratching this morning, so she will definately be getting it today.
Here is her foot his morning. I know it still looks really red, but that's just it, it's red, not raw and bleeding like before.
