Skylar's first pedicure

Tonight I took Skylar for her very first pedicure.  She was SOOOOO excited.  She was full of questions on the way there.  Was it fun?  Will it hurt?  Will it tickle?  What will they do?  Do I get to sit in the big chair?  When we walked in she announced that this was her first time.  A few times she just screamed out, yay!!  She loved the massage chair, she giggled as he scrubbed her feet.  She just loved it.  She picked a bright pink nail polish and even got zebra stripes on her big toes.  She's already excited for the next time.  She just felt so special sitting there with her momma.

Larissa got her own special pedicure from daddy at home using my foot spa.  He even painted her nails a pretty pink.  When we got home, the girls had to play nail salon.

Flying Kites

Although it was really hot today, it was also windy.  The girls and I decided to go fly kites after dinner.  It wasn't as windy as it was earlier in the day, but they did get the kites up a few times.  The kites aren't the best, they're quite cheap, but the girls had fun. 

Iowa Childrens Museum

Today, for Father's Day, we took the girls to the Iowa Children's Museum.  Dads got in free, so yay!!  We spent almost 3 hours there and the girls had a blast.  It was nice to both be there with them since they don't always want to be in the same room.
