Yep, every Labor Day weekend, the circus comes to Moline Illinois. This is the closest the Ringling Brothers Circus ever gets to us. It's a little over an hour drive forus, but well worth it when we see the look on the girls faces. They absolutely love the circus. The elephants are a huge hit with them, and Skylar also really likes the motorcycles that ride in the big steel ball. They did enjoy some of the acrobatics also, but would lose interest in them rather quickly. I think John and I enjoyed those more. This year we saw the Blue Line so we saw the Russian Bar, a really neat trampoline act, flying trapeeze, tight rope walkers, and a few other acrobat acts that I can't really describe. I didn't feel like the clown acts were really that good this year. Last year we laughed a lot, this year we used those acts for potty breaks. They just didn't hold our interest.
Here are the best pictures I could get. If I used a flash the pictures were blurry, without a flash they are dark, but you can see the objects better.
