more outside fun

It wasn't nearly as nice today, only in the 40's, but it was sunny and felt good to be outside.  After the day care kids got up from naps, we all went outside.  I only had 2 other kids besides my own, so it wasn't hard to watch them out front.  Skylar spent a good amount of time drawing with her sidewalk chalk.  Larissa was practicing her pedaling.  She has a 10 inch bike and a 12 inch bike.  She has a much easier time on the smaller bike.  The pedals are attached to the front wheel and it's more like a big wheel.  The bigger bike is a regual bike and she just has a lot of trouble making the pedals work.  We stayed outside for about 2.5 hours and they still didn't want to come in.  The sun was getting lower though and the temperature was dropping.  I think 2.5 hours is good for an early March day.  This time last year we were burried in snow.
