Happy Birthday Larissa

Today my baby girl turned 4 years old.  How did that happen???  She woke up with a smile at 6:30, snuck some candy while I was in the shower.  We took Skylar to school where Rissy told everyone it was her birthday.  She will celebrate her birthday at school tomorrow since she doesn't attend on Thursday's.  When we went to pick up Skylar, Larissa asked if she could invite some friends over.  She wanted her friends Tayah and Caydren to come and play.  I texted their mom and she said yes.  She dropped them off around 3 after Caydren's nap.  Their mom went off for some much needed retail therapy and I took the kids outside to play.  It was a bit chaotic, but worked out well.  The girls are used to playing with them.  They have been going to their house on Monday nights when I had to take Diesel to dog obedience and John was out of town or working late.  So after they left, John made dinner and then it was present time.  Larissa waited patiently ALL day for daddy to get home.  She really liked her presents.  We got her a new shopping cart that holds TWO babies, her own tag reader (she loves Skylars but Skylar still uses hers often, now they don't have to share) and 2 new books, some new markers and stampers for her doodle bear, a squinkie set, and then some food and diapers for her baby alive.  She was thrilled with it all.  Then it was off to tumbling class, and then I stopped and got them ice cream from Culvers on the way home.  We didn't have a cake so this was a special treat for her.  (we did have some mini cupcakes with the daycare kids today though)
