Majesty of the Seas

This year John won a cruise through his job.  It was a 3 day cruise on the Majesty of the Seas.  We went in a day early and stayed in Ft. Lauderdale.  Tropical storm Andrea was going through the area but didn't affect us too much.  We landed ok and had a few hours of overcast but hot weather before the rain started.  It then rained from about 5pm until sometime over night.  The next morning it was beautiful, sunny and hot.  We went to the beach for a bit before driving down to Miami to catch the ship.  We met up with another couple who also came down early.  Mike and Angela.

there was an auction for the Make a Wish foundation.  We won some internet minutes.

our night of partying.  There was a party on deck.  We stayed up there until about 1am (for us that is really late.  It helped that we had taken a 3 hour nap that afternoon)  

us with Rich and Angela Grimpe.  We hung out with them the most.(I met them last year in Vegas and I was so glad they won this trip also)

We had a great time despite being on an older ship.  We had an outside cabin but with only a port hole.  The bed took up almost the whole entire room.  It was very small, but we didn't pay for it.  The people we were with made it all worth it.  We did a lot of lounging around by the pool.  We rode jet skis on Coco Cay.  We chatted with friends up on deck.  We drank more than we have ever drank on all our past cruises combined, but we never got drunk.  We found our happy spot and stopped.  It was just a really nice quick get away.  The girls had a great time with my parents.
